Recently, the "Dream of Zhuhai · Sound of Hengqin — Zhuhai-Hengqin 2026 Global Elite University Outstanding Youth Summer Practice Program" organized a corporate visit and exchange activity. Outstanding young talents from world-renowned universities including the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and institutions in Singapore visited Guangdong Kargen Advanced Carbon Materials Co., Ltd., experiencing firsthand the innovation vitality of the advanced materials industry and discussing new opportunities for deeper industry-academia-research integration.
Jointly hosted by the Zhuhai Talent Bureau, the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone Bureau of Talent Development and Social Security, and the Municipal Communist Youth League Committee, the event is a flagship talent-attraction program of Zhuhai-Hengqin. It selected 40 top master's and doctoral talents from 896 universities worldwide, focusing on key industries such as new energy, new materials, and integrated circuits, and built a government-enterprise-research exchange platform through internships, site visits, and cross-border study tours. As a key science-and-technology enterprise in Zhuhai-Hengqin, Kargen hosted the full-day exchange activities of this program.

After the welcome address, a dedicated corporate presentation helped the young talents gain a comprehensive understanding of Kargen's development history, core MOF technology, thousand-ton-scale industrial capacity, R&D platform building, and university-industry collaboration achievements. The visiting group then proceeded to the company showroom, high-standard R&D laboratories, and pilot-production workshops, where they observed firsthand the complete process from Mof Materials research to large-scale production, immersively experiencing how frontier achievements in advanced materials are translated into industry, and directly feeling the company's strong innovation atmosphere.

In the afternoon, the activity split into two groups for panel discussions and hands-on practice. Combining their own research directions, the young talents engaged in deep discussions around topics such as technology breakthroughs, transformation of research results, and the development of the advanced materials industry. Participants spoke actively and contributed ideas, sparking a collision of thought between theoretical research and industrial practice, and building a bridge for exchange between university talent and corporate technology.
